Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Finanzübersicht is a personal finance app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The app includes no third-party tracking, ads, or analytics SDKs.

2. On-device data

All finance and settings data are stored locally on your device, including:

• Accounts, balances, transactions, recurring payments
• Categories, budgets, and savings goals
• App preferences (language, appearance)
• optional local backups / exports you create yourself
• Status of optional unlocks (in-app purchases)

This data is stored on your device first. We do not operate a backend for your finance data.

3. Optional iCloud Sync

You can optionally enable iCloud Sync (yearly subscription, independent of Pro). It is opt-in (Settings → iCloud Sync) and requires being signed into iCloud on the device (iOS 17+ / Mac Catalyst 17+).

Synced finance data stays in your private iCloud (Apple CloudKit, private database). There is no Finanzübersicht account and no first-party sync server. Apple processes iCloud data under Apple’s privacy policy. Without Sync, the app remains fully usable locally.

4. In-app purchases

Purchases (Pro as a one-time purchase, optional Sync as a yearly subscription) are processed by Apple (App Store / StoreKit). Payment and account data are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive full payment details.

5. No sharing

We do not sell or share personal usage data with advertising networks or data brokers.

6. App Store / platform

If you get the app via the Apple App Store, Apple may process purchase, download, and device information under Apple’s privacy policy.
